Listen Talk Act. Indigenous Conversations

Mary Ward International Australia (MWIA) has pleasure in inviting you to Listen Talk Act Indigenous Conversations at:

The Auditorium, Loreto Kirribilli

at 6.00 for 6.30pm


The Conversations will focus on the Constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the value of education for Indigenous peoples. They will be led by:
  • Graeme Mundine, a prominent Aboriginal Catholic leader and former Marist Brother. He was originally from Grafton NSW, a Bundjalung man, who has been working on Indigenous issues for over 20 years.
  • Renee Coffey, Programs Director at Australian Indigenous Education Foundation
  • Jane Kemp, a Kamillaroi woman, the Team Leader of Strong Young Mums in rural NSW, an MWIA supported program.

MWIA regret to inform interested participants in the MWIA Indigenous Listen Talk Act Indigenous Conversations on 26th March 2012, that Mick Gooda, will unfortunately no longer be able to attend. Instead we are very grateful for the last minute inclusion of Mr.Graeme Mundine who has very kindly agreed to step in.

Kathryn Greiner AO will act as moderator.

There will be an opportunity for audience participation in the conversations. Light refreshments will be served.
